Maame-Yaa has appeared in over a dozen national commercials for brands including E*Trade, SalesForce, AT&T, UPS, and FanDuel. Her on-camera acting work can be seen in Frasier on Paramount+, Make Some Noise on DropOutTV, Comedy Central, and The CW. Maame-Yaa is currently workshopping her sold-out, one woman show Useless Woman and the A.I. Therapist with plans to tour.
writing/ CONSULTING
Maame-Yaa works as a writer and creative consultant. She sold her half-hour TV pilot Minnesota Nice to Sony Pictures television followed by another deal with ABC Signature/ Disney for her hour-long dramedy pitch, The Dream. She has written sketches for Comedy Central and Kevin Hart’s LOL Network. Alongside Peabody winners, Lucia Aniello and Paul Downs, Maame-Yaa’s former improv group developed and sold TV pilots for Comedy Central and Netflix. Additionally, Maame-Yaa was a creative consultant for MTV’s 2020 Code and writer on Facebook Watch’s Talks with Mama Tina. As a playwright, Maame-Yaa wrote the script, music and lyrics for her one woman show, Useless Woman and the A.I. Therapist.

Maame-Yaa produces her own projects and projects she beleives in. She worked as a producer on Apple TV’s docs-series The Long Game. She executive produced her short film brown paper pageant which appeared as the inaugural “Binge This Pick” on Good Morning America. She executive produced projects for Comedy Central, Netflix, Sony Pictures Television and ABC Signature/ Disney. She is currently executive producing the development and tour of her one woman show Useless Woman and the A.I. Therapist for the stage.

Maame-Yaa worked as assistant to prolific directors Gina Prince-Bythewood and Seth Gordon. Maame-Yaa’s most notable directing work is her short film brown paper pageant which was the first-ever Good Morning America Binge This Pick of the Week. Maame-Yaa looks forward to directing more.
